Our HomeSafe programme includes concepts and learnings from a range of industries. It is being supported with a broad set of health and safety indicators to improve management information, insights and safety performance. This broader data set allows for a better understanding of injury causes and allows us to benchmark against other companies across many sectors. Every employee at Pennon takes part in HomeSafe training and awareness to ensure that each and every one of our employees goes home safe.
We investigate all Lost Time Injuries and Health & Safety incidents and report findings to the business as part of our management system. We externally report any fatal incidents involving employees and agency staff, as well as those involving contractors who are fatally injured on locations under Pennon control to the Health and Safety Executive and within our Annual Report. We have had no employee, agency or contractor fatalities within the continuing group businesses in the past 5 years.0 employee or contractor fatalities in period.
